Strongly based on the line ‘eu não obedeço, porque sou molhada’ [I don’t obey, because I’m wet], from the song Banho [Bath], performed by Elza Soares, I propose to outline, through gestures and sounds, a possible representation of the political geography of a non-submissive body. It is urgent to claim a place of resistance, turning possible weaknesses into arrows and powers. The body as a political weapon, the last stronghold of any experience, a cry. An assertion of individuality in reconciliation with its identity and sexuality: from the sex to the head, from the head to the cosmos, from the cosmos to the ground. A possible mantra to keep me off balance. — Elizabete Francisca
