LABIA builds a universe that transcends individual and bodily materiality, undoing the colonising and binary language, offering discourses based on its gesture, and expanding its multiple possibilities in an endless artistic and life process. A procedural and transmuted project of encounter between multidisciplinary artists who navigate between worlds without confining themselves to rooted forms, thus giving new meaning to their resistance/existence, building and destroying objects, creating other meanings, and opening up spaces for imaginable futures of existential expansion in the here and now. — Jo Castro
LABIA is durational performance-installation, and the audience can move around, enter and exit the room.
