Expressionism is an artistic movement that arose at the beginning of the 20th century in northern Europe, especially Germany, and that influenced various cultural disciplines: painting, architecture, literature, theatre, cinema, music and dance. This film montage, brought to us by Cinemathèque de La Danse de Paris / Centre National de La Danse, aims to show films that connect dance with expressionist images, cinema and plastic arts. A flow of forces that meets in these three forms of artistic expression.
