A house as a place to gather what’s scattered.
A house one finds, one builds, to where one invites, from where one leaves. A house that does not hinder movement, but benefits circulation. There’s a space, an interior, concrete or mental, where intimacy and the ordinary negotiate history in the plural, and attempt to make poetry together. There are hollow spaces that remind us of other inhabitants—be those who stay one day or those who stay a lifetime—and everyone’s ghosts taking over everything. Une maison is a piece for 14 performers.
