Born in Recife, Brazil, Alan Sencades studied Linguistics and Literature before dedicating himself entirely to circus arts. He moved to Portugal, where he studied at INAC (Instituto Nacional de Artes do Circo). In 2020, he finished the Professional Circus Course with a work in progress of the show Ferro à Ferrugem at Casa das Artes de Famalicão. In 2021, he participated in Mostra Estufa with the same show.
