Portuguese-Brazilian Bibiana Figueiredo founded RaizArte. She had dance training at balleteatro and has a dance degree from the Lisbon School of Dance. In her creative and performing journey, she highlights the solo Muala, which premiered at Kinani in Maputo. She is currently working on Vidas de Pedra in São Tomé and Príncipe, where she lives and dedicates herself to art education, cultural production and education through art at RaizArte, fostering performing arts. She also has a degree in education and furthers her knowledge in art-for-development projects.
