Cristina Planas Leitão has a degree in dance performance from ArtEZ, Arnhem (The Netherlands, 2006). As a performer, she has collaborated with Gabriella Maiorino, Isabelle Schad, Flávio Rodrigues, Catarina Miranda and Marco da Silva Ferreira. As a rehearsal director, she worked with Hofesh Shechter and Gregory Maqoma for Companhia Instável. In 2010, she was chosen by David Zambrano to take part in “50 Days of Flying Low and Passing Through in Costa Rica”, and she currently teaches both techniques. Since 2012, she has been focusing on her own pieces: “The Very Delicious Piece” and “The Very Boring Piece” (both co- authored by Jasmina Križaj), “Bear Me” and “FM [featuring mortuum]”. She is the artistic director of Bactéria since 2015
