Filipa Francisco studied dance, theatre, improvisation and playwriting at the Escola Superior de Dança, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Lee Strasberg Institute in New York and with the dramaturg André Lepecki. Her most relevant recent work is "Íman", created with young people from the Cova da Moura neighbourhood (Projeto Nu Kre Bai Na Bu Onda), and "A Viagem", with traditional dance groups.
