João Gonçalo Lopes has a degree in Architecture from Universidade de Coimbra and Escuela Técnica de Arquitectura de Madrid. He worked in renowned studios in Tokyo, Shanghai and London. In 2015, he co-created the Til collective, a research and practical exploration group around the processes of material transformation and reflection in the roles of form, space and construction in social intervention. In his personal practice, he develops projects which intersect the fields of architecture, urbanism, art, construction and education.
