Né Barros is a choreographer, dancer and researcher at Instituto de Filosofia of the University of Porto in the Aesthetics, Politics and Knowledge Group. She has been developing her artistic work in connection with her academic studies and research. Most of her artistic projects are developed in balleteatro, but she has also worked with the National Ballet Company of Portugal, Ballet Gulbenkian and Aura Dance Company (Lithuania). She is a professor at ESAP and a visiting professor at various institutions. Co-founder of balleteatro and artistic director of the Family Film Project - Archive, Memory, Ethnography International Film Festival.
