Telma João Santos is an artist and researcher. She is a doctor in mathematics and in performing arts. She taught at the University of Évora for 20 years. She has been creating performances since 2006, working on the multidimensional nature of the forms of self-re-presentation, and intersecting mathematical speech and movement analysis through the dynamic notion of sprouting. She carries out research on the crossings between scientific investigation and artistic creation, following several artists, such as Flávio Rodrigues, Bruno Senune, Sérgio Diogo Matias, the SillySeason collective and David Marques.
