Wura Moraes is a Portuguese-Brazilian dancer from Amarante. She has a degree in dance from the Angel Vianna Faculty (Rio de Janeiro), and she had training at the School of Sands (Senegal) and at the Irène Tassembédo Dance School (Burkina Faso). Her research focuses on the intersection between contemporary, urban and Afro-Brazilian dances. She currently lives and carries out her choreographic work between Africa, Latin America and Europe.
